  • GA-P55a-UD3 /w F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ

I just built a new pc /w the GA-P55A-UD3 mb, F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ dual channel kit, and a i5 750. Whenever I put them in Dual channel I get either freezing or BSOD after a cold boot, or after resuming from sleep. I've already RMA'd them back to the vendor with the same results, and have tried it on bioses F4, F6, and F8p. I do have XMP enabled, and have tried bumping the mem volts up to 1.6 . When I bumped up the results It just seems to blue screen faster. I have run memtest86+ 4.0 for 9+ hours straight with no errors.

If I put just one stick in or, both sticks in but not in dual channel everything seems to work fine.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

You may have a bad CPU or motherboard. Have you tried the other two slots?

    Thank you

I haven't tried slots 2 and 4 at all, I'll try that tonight. I just put in an RMA for both the MB and CPU, so hopefully one of those will resolve it

What CPU are you running (and speed). Assuming you have them set at the base timings and Command Rate at 2T or 2N, what is your tRFC? If you could post your BIOS settings, might be able to find a problem

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

          Replaced Mobo and CPU

I replaced both the motherboard and cpu, I have a i5 750 running at 2.67GHZ, I've attached screenshots of my bios below:

Sorry some of them are blurry.

Sadly no, I'm still getting BSODs mostly with memory management as the cause. I'm probably just going to get a refund on the mobo and go with an intel board instead.

After you reset the computer, problems still occur?

Usually after I reboot from the first BSOD, I'm fine unless the computer goes to sleep for and extended period of time. Then I will get a BSoD on resume from sleep

Send the memory in to us and request to have the replacements tested before shipment.
