    Hi Rob,

thanks again for your help. I tested a lot the last days and in the meantime I thought I got it but no go. The system runs fine for a whole day, even after rebooting. But then the next after it was powered off, the system is all of a sudden unstable. I also had to clear all CMOS values once because it didn't POST after experimenting with some settings. My latest and most promising settings are:

    Code:
    CPU NB VID Control 1.4V
    Memory Clock x5.33 1066MHz
    DCTs Mode Unganged
    CAS# latency 9T
RAS to CAS R/W Delay 9T
    Row Precharge Time 9T
    Minimum RAS Active Time 24T
    1T/2T Command Timing 2T
    TwTr Command Delay 5T
    Trfc0 for DIMM1 300ns
    Trfc2 for DIMM2 300ns
    Trfc1 for DIMM3 300ns
    Trfc3 for DIMM4 300ns
    Write Recovery Time 10T
    Precharge Time 5T
    Row Cycle Time 33T
    RAS to RAS Delay 4T
I don't know what else I could do to get it stable. Since I depend on a stable pc, I'll take out 4gb and let it work with just 4gb.
    Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P (Bios F7)
