  • F3-2133C9Q2-64GZH will not run at 2133MHz on Rampage IV Black Edition with i7-4930K

Hi everyone. My first post in here. I'm very new to overclocking and somewhat overwhelmed by the number of settings available in the "BIOS" on the R4BE mobo. I was given the kit I have by a very kind colleague at work. The F3-2133C9Q2-64GZH kit is not specifically listed on the R4BE QVL list. Neither is the R4BE on the F3-2133C9Q2-64GZH QVL list. This perhaps suggests that perhaps manual intervention is needed? If I use XMP in the BIOS, I get instability which is normally manifested by a restart without BSOD.

I'm not asking for every setting of course, but just for general advice on using F3-2133C9Q2-64GZH at its speed of 2133MHz. Can my IMC even drive 8 x 8 GB sticks in quad channel?

    Very grateful for any help.

Do you have the latest BIOS? What CPU do you have?

With XMP enabled, manually lower DRAM Frequency until the system can boot and work properly. Report back with the result.
