RAM: F3-14900CL8Q-16GBZM
Mobo: GA-EP45T-DS3R F4C BIOS
CPU: Q9550
PSU: 500W PC Power & Cooling
I recently purchased a second hand motherboard to upgrade a home file server. I purchased the F3-14900CL8Q-16GBZM kit for this board as this board is rated for up to a 1900FSB.
The board sees the whole 16GB and will post at full 1866 ("Profile 2" in BIOS), but when I check voltages in windows it reads as 2.2v! These modules are rated for 1.5v, and the system will not post if I manually set DRAM voltage to 1.5v. The system is not stable with the automatic settings as the DRAM goes up to 2.2v, the PLL goes to 1.7. CPU TERM goes to 1.4, VCORE to 1.38. I have tried setting timings to 11-11-11-30, but it has no effect.
Using EasyTune, I can step down the DRAM voltage to about 1.9v before the system resets.
I was hoping to get help with running these modules safely at their rated speeds on my board.
Thank you!
