  • F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK and F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI-B memory on GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard

    Good Afternoon,

    I have two pairs of G.Skill memory, but unfortunately I can not get the two pairs (4 sticks) of memory to work together. Could someone please advise me on why they are not working together, because I want to utilize all 8gb.

    The memory I have are below;

    F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
    F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI-B

    My motherboard is below;

    GA-EP45-UD3P

    Thanks

    Make sure each kit is in the same color slots.

    In BIOS, input DRAM frequency, timings, and voltage.

    For timings, tRFC should be increased to 80.

    For Voltage, set MCH Core Voltage to 1.40V. This will help the memory controller stabilize full slots of DDR2-1066

    If you have problems, try DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 2.0V.

    These are fail proof settings you can use to determine whether the two types of kits can be compatible in the same computer.

    Thank you

      Thank you.

      I think tRFC to 80 did the trick.
