I've seen similar posts about this memory (and similar memory), but haven't gotten a good sense of compatible memory for an upgrade.
Specs for my current memory:
F2-8800CL5D-4GBPI - 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 1100 (PC28800), 5-5-5-15@1.8-1.9V
(I'm currently running at 1066, 5-5-5-15 @ 1.8V)
Two choices I've found (feel free to suggest others):
F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ - 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800 (PC26400), 5-5-5-15@1.8-1.9V
F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ - 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC28000), 5-5-5-15@2.0-2.1V
The first set matches the timings and voltages, but I'd have to drop to 800. The second set is closer to the 1066 I'm running at (still not quite there), but I'd have to bump up my voltages to as much as 2.1V... not sure what that would do to my current set.
What's the better approach here? Does anyone know of a more-compatible set?
Thanks!
James
