The following email has come back twice as undeliverable. If tech support can take a look and get back to me, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

I bought the subject memory from Newegg, after searching the Crucial and Kingston websites for the type of memory I would need for my Acer Aspire 5601 notebook plus looking at the computer's manual. It does not work in my notebook - notebook will not fully power up before it shuts itself off. It will not go into the BIOS or load Windows.I made sure the memory was slotted properly
I RMA'd the 1st set with Newegg but the 2nd set received is the same.

My computer's manual also states that this type G Skill ram should work, so I'm a bit confused. This is from The Acer Aspire's 5600 manual:
System memory Up to 2 GB of DDR2 533/667 MHz memory, upgradeable to
4 GB using two soDIMM modules (dual-channel support)
My problem is that Newegg will not issue any type of refund or credit and they will only exchange it for the SAME EXACT ITEM, which does me absolutely no good. I'm not sure another RMA with Newegg will produce different results.
My question is: Can I exchange it with you for the equivalent PC2-4200 memory and do you think maybe PC2-4200 might work better? PC2-4200 is what came stock with the laptop.
The memory was tested once in my Acer laptop but I just put it back in the original packaging and the box looks and is new.
My original order # with Newegg was #18883058 dated March 3rd, for a total of $42.79 - looks like the price has come down a bit. My RMA order # was 35758200 dated March 22nd, and it's the order I currently have in my possession.
I'd appreciate your help and reply on this or else I'm out $42.79 and my laptop remains un-upgraded.
