Fist I?m sorry my English is not so good - because I?m a German

My Hardware:
Phenom II 940BE
Gigabyte MA-MA790X-DS4

I want install 4x2 GB of the above modules at my system
But will after this my system run at 1066MHz Memory Speed?
I?m not sure but I think that i?ve heard that 4 modules in a Phenom system run just with 800 Mhz ?

It?s this true?

My Motherboard/Bios set up the modules (now 2x2 GB) 1066 Mhz at 1.9 Volt (3 Hours Memtest NO Errors).

EPP Auto Modus at the Bios (Version F6) set up the voltage at 2.225 Volt.
Is this dangerous?

welcome!

on AM2 platform, it's not easy to run above DDR2 1066 with 4 sticks
and we can't guarantee every 2 pairs could work together without problem since we only test them in pair
and EPP is only officially supported on Nvidia chipset
actually it should be DDR2 1066 5-5-5-15@2.1v with EPP setting

if you want to run with DDR2 1066, you'll need to add northbridge or HT voltage in BIOS

Ok I will test it with the next 2x2 GB - If it?s works then I will buy.
I will disable EPP.

My RAM is stable at 1,9 Volt - so I will not change it to 2.0 / 2.1
