  • G.Skill F2-8800CL5d-4GBPI wont run at DDR2 1006 on DFI LT P35 T2R

Well, i have this memory running at 800Mhz on my the DFI LT P35 T2R. I try to put it at 1066Mhz with 1,7v or 1,87v or 1,904v and put the timming 5-5-15 and tRC on auto and then on 48 and the systen never boot up. So i clear CMOS all this time, and i running again at 800Mhz with 1,8v. Please help me, i really dont know what more can i do.

PD: Sorry if my english is not so good but i am from Argentine.

we just set the memory voltage and CPU VTT to 1.8v and 1.45v
and the timing 5-5-5-15@DDR2 1100 with FSB 367
      it works fine without problem
      here is the screenshot:

      thanks

did you add the CPU VTT voltage?
to run over DDR2 1066, you'll need to add CPU VTT voltage to about 1.45v
          thanks

No i did not add vcore. I only touched the vdimm between 1.8v to 1.934v.
My Q6600 is running with 1.2375v (VID) at this moment at 2.4Ghz, in the box of the Q6600 is said that 1.35v is max voltage support.

How much vcore i must add if i put the memory at 1100Mhz???

CPU VTT voltage is not actually CPU core voltage
it's about FSB and northbridge, such as FSB voltage in ASUS motherboard
normally, we'd recommend user to add it while running above DDR2 1066
however, since you don't overclock you CPU, there is no need to add CPU VID voltage
it's CPU VTT you'll need to increase
              thanks
