GSkill PC2-8800 with Asus P5B-D motherboard

Are there G Skill techs reading this? It seems I have no way of contacting them other than here on the forum.

I have an Asus P5B-D/WiFi motherboard, rev 1.04g, with latest "1236" bios, p965 chipset/socket 775. CPU is an Intel E8400(3.0). Video card is an nVidia EVGA GTX-280. Power supply is a PC Power & Cooling 610W Silencer(49a on the +12v).

The memory I purchased for it is the G Skill (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1100 (PC2 8800). No matter what I do, I cannot get it to work with both dimm's in. I have changed voltage,timings, etc....it "hangs" at the startup/logo screen when I boot up.

Help, please...

I figured it out...ME.... :0

Last Fall for a while I was running the latest beta bios from Asus for this MB... "1237", (even though everyone said the "1236" was fine), which was only needed if you had one of the really fast Quad-cores....I remembered the board seemed to run very well w/ it.

SO....I flashed to that "1237" bios.... put second stick in the MB....ipso-presto....she's working, dudes.... I DON'T BELIVE IT...

NOW...how do I get this memory running at fastest stable speed...at start-up screen, says "PC2-5300"
