having problems getting this mem to run at 1066. i have tried a couple of things, only to get the long beep, followed by an error messae at startup. here is the rest of my system

MOBO - EVGA 780i Triple SLI

    CPU - Intel E8500

    GPU - EVGA 9800GTX+ 512mb

    PSU - Corsair 750 watt

Now then, I have 8 gigs of this ram, and would ove to get it to run 1066 instead of 800. I am not a pro, so as easy instructions as possible please.

would you like to try to install 2 sticks first? since we do not guarantee for 4 sticks running together
    thanks

why wouldn't 4 sticks run together?? weird, but then again, would it be better to have 4 gigs at 1066 or 8 gigs at 800??? just wondering

like 2 in dual channel, we have to test both sticks together to make sure the 2 could work fine in pair
not every 2 sets could run together without problem, so we can't guarantee every four sticks could run together without problem

for your choice, it depends on what kind of software you would like to run most
and you have to use 64bit OS to get total memory available
        thanks
