I am a new G Skill customer. I have had some problems running my memory at 1066 with the above settings/ hardware set-up. I have tried everything from your forums and i am still having some trouble. My timings are: CAS 5, TRCD 6, TRP 6, TRAS 24, TRC 30 as suggested but i do not know what to do about the TRFC because there are three different ones to fill out in the BIOS... When i do modify the TRFC settings I get a crash after the Windows logon screen. As far as I know i have been doing everything right but i cannot seem to get them to run at even 800 mhz. Can you please help me out?

My motherboard manual says nothing about configuring memory.

I have had trouble before with 4x1 GB of CorsAir Dominators which were obviously not going to work because of the nature of the AM2+ chips and thought i would give these a try. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work.

Is there anyone out there with a similar set-up that is running 800 or 1066 mHz stably that can maybe share their settings?

This will probably be the fastest setting:

        Memory Frequency DDR2-800
        Memory timings - tCL 4 - tRCD 4 - tRP 4 - tRAS 12 - Command Rate 2
        Memory Voltage - 2.0V

tRFC should be fine at 160ns.

Once that is complete everything should run fine.

        Thank you

Thank you for the help but for the tRFC there are about 4 types that i can change: tRFC0, tRFC1, tRFC2, tRFC3... there is also no option for 160ns, just 75ns, 105ns, 127.5ns, 195ns, and 327ns. The other question I have is where does it say the memory speed in CPUID because no matter what i try i always get 400MHz in the memory tab?

          And ganged or unganged?

          What do you recommend?

Thanks soooo much for the response in advance!!

            Set all tRFC to 127.5ns

CPUID shows the base memory frequency 400MHz. DDR is double data rate so 400 x 2 = DDR2-800

            Unganged

            Thank you
