  • iMac F2-5300CL5S-4GBSQ

    Hi,

I'm trying to figure out if my RAM (F2-5300CL5S-4GBSQ) is bad, incorrect, or not supported.

I have a Late 2007 iMac (model 7,1) that according to Apple only officially supports 2x2GB but many people have a 6 GB configuration and places like OWC sell "supported" 4 GB DIMMs.

When I install it and boot I get three beeps (signals bad RAM).

    Any help would be appreciated

Will drop GSkill Tech a note, he knows what works with MACs better than I, don't want to suggest something that might not work

The memory should be compatible as it does meet the specifications. Send it in for RMA to see if a new module works better.
