  • F4-4400C17D-32GTZR wrong xmp profile !?

    Hello, i bought:

    F4-4400C17D-32GTZR
    G.Skill Trident Z RGB DIMM Kit 32GB, DDR4-4400, CL17-18-18-38

But loading xmp profile set DDR-4000 CL16-17-17-35 !?

    Thanks for helping.
    Regards

Did you buy them from a authorized retailer? I did load your hex dump into Thaiphoon Burner and double checked some of the timings, since they are way off for the XMP (tFAW, tRRD_S/L, all tRFC). Normally I would believe there was an issue during the read process with some other software interfering, but then the CRC should/would be off. So it is indeed ominous or suspicious. Can't say I have seen this one before, esp since there is no DDR4-4000 CL16-17-17 based model. Unless you bought them 2nd hand, I'd probably contact my retailer about it and otherwise try to RMA them directly with G.SKILL.
