Best Kit for ROG MAXIMUS XI APEX? F4-4600C18D-16GTZR or F4-4133C17D-16GTZR ?

Hello, i want to build an (oc) gaming system (thats why i returned the XI Hero Board...)

Which memory from G.Skill shoud be the best for my needs!?

First i choosing the:

G.Skill Trident Z RGB DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-4600, CL18-22-22-42

- need 1,5v (is 1,5 ok for 24/7 ?)


or next:

G.Skill Trident Z RGB DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-4133, CL17-17-17-37

+ need 1,4v
+ better CAS CL


another option i have on screen:

to buy the 32GB Kit
G.Skill Trident Z RGB DIMM Kit 32GB, DDR4-4266, CL17-18-18-38

need 1,45v

(that would be a buy for the next system with 4 DIMM slots)

What are your needs?

1.50V is fine for 24/7 as long as the system is cool.

DDR4-4133 kit should be plenty good. DDR4-4600 is difficult for most CPUs so it may not be worth it unless you want to extreme OC.

My needs is the fastest gaming possible.

But i have come to the same conclusion:

4600 is more difficult to run i‘m not an oc pro (just beginner) and need more plug & play.

So i decided to go with the 32gib Kit of the 4133 CL17.

I want a paired 32gb Kit for the case If i switch to a new mobo with 4 dimm slots.
CAS is still important too so the kit gives me on all stages CL17 which sounds pretty good to me.

I ordered the Kit already yesterday.
