  • 2133 Ripjaws OC to 2400

    Just wondering if the 2133 ripjaws-z I have will oc to 2400 cas 9.These 4 2133 sticks are 9 11 10 28 FC-1700CL9Q-16GBZH.My mb is a msi z97 mpower max ac with a i7-4790k.If 2400 cas 9 is possible,please post some settings I can try.

      The first 8 digits of the sn on the mem stick under the bar code is 13182500 .

        So Samsungs again. If that is a double sided kit, then 2400 CL9 and 2600+ CL10 should be not too hard with enough voltage. Start with 2400 CL9-12-12-28 at 1.7V and if successful try tighten to CL9-12-11-28 and then CL9-11-11-28. If 1.7V are not even enough to POST at all, you probably need to go higher. For 2600+ CL10 you will probably need a similar amount of voltage.

        If it is a single sided kit, then it shouldn't be too different from your F3-2400C10D-16GTX in terms of scaling.

            How high of a safe voltage can these sticks be overclocked to for 24-7 useage.Also cpu sa voltage how high for safe 24-7.

              As long as you can keep them cool and the additional voltage is effective it will be fine. So be aware of cooling and prevent over heat, make sure the voltage you supply is needed and everything will be OK. Voltages can vary because some items can utilize more than others.
