  • F4-3200C14Q-32GTZR failing HCI memtest 1920x

    Hello,
I got this ram on October 2017, it was running fine on 5960x rig.
I switched the ram on a new rig and I can't pass HCI memtest 500%, it will always fail after 3 hours around 300%
I am already on the XMP profile but maybe there is something my cpu/mobo/ram doesn't like.
everything at default except the ram set to XMP profile. I tried 1.360v but it will still fail after 3 ~ 4 hours.
I also tried to bump the soc voltage to 1.170v

maybe it is because of high temps and you reach critical ram temp after 3h

max temperature reported is 60c, is that considering high for this ram?

could be high enough that you need to raise DRAM voltage

i need to hold the temps around 40°C, near 50° can cause erros while testing with memtest - so i use 140mm fan blowing on the memory sticks

you can test a extra fan for RAM or test 1.40V - means temp raise too but with higher volts it should work

looks like it was the voltage, increasing it to 1.370v passed 700% HCI memtest
