      can you please check with 3600MHz first, and set DRAM Voltage manual to 1.40V

        I was able to get up to 3200mhz setting :

        Vccio voltage to 1.25v

        Cpu system agent voltage to 1.25v

        now I try to change dram voltage to 1.4 v and set 3600 mhz

          The pc boots up with ram at 3600 mhz with this setting :

          Vccio voltage to 1.25v

          Cpu system agent voltage to 1.25v

          dram voltage to 1.4 v

              ok,1.4v dram voltage is good for beginning

              can you boot with vccio 1.20V and vccsa 1.25V @ 3600MHz too?

              please check how far you can go, and if it will help to rais vccsa to 1.30v

                The pc boots also with ram at 3600 mhz with this setting :

                Vccio voltage to 1.15v

                Cpu system agent voltage to 1.25v

                dram voltage to 1.4 v

                testing now with your new suggests settings.

                  The pc does NOT boot with ram at 3700 mhz with this setting

                  Vccio voltage to 1.20v

                  Cpu system agent voltage to 1.30v

                  dram voltage to 1.4 v

                    hm!

                    DRAM Voltage to 1.45V for test, will it help?

                    Vccio voltage to 1.15v

                    Cpu system agent voltage to 1.25v

                    dram voltage to 1.45 v

                    and can you please check the timings from tRDWR_SG, tRDWR_DG, tRDWR_DR and tRDWR_DD
                    if they are lower than your tCL can you set them to 19, 19, 19, 20 ?
                    - i can remember a posting about Asus problem and that helped to set them not faster than tCL ( but here we need a pro, i can`t explain that )

                        Hi! Sorry, I had to leave home to run herrands.

                        The pc did NOT but with this setting at 3800 mzk :-(

                        Vccio voltage to 1.15v

                        Cpu system agent voltage to 1.25v

                        dram voltage to 1.45 v

                        I am not sure where are in the bios the timings from tRDWR_SG, tRDWR_DG, tRDWR_DR and tRDWR_DD (see attached pictures)

                        I have downloaded mem tweakit. I just installed it but it seems none of the option are available for me to change
                        . Is this an old software for old motherboards and that is why it is not working?

                          wow, your board uses on automatic sharp timings - like

                          could be it is a little bit too optimistic :-D

                          @3600 it uses 15 15 15 36 and so on

                          so we can loosen them up a little bit :

                          please set:
                          tCAS 17
                          tRAS-CAS 17

                          i think automatic logic will set the others based on them also a little bit higher *hope so*

                          - if it will not work you can try tCAS 19 and tRAS-CAS 19 too

                          and somewhere deeper in the bios settings must be secondary and tertiary timings

                          this style:
                          DRAM READ to WRITE Delay sg = tCAS
                          DRAM READ to WRITE Delay dg = tCAS
                          DRAM READ to WRITE Delay dr = tCAS
                          DRAM READ to WRITE Delay dd = tCAS +1

                          --- Mem TweakIt

                          ok, it should work with z390 but maybe they locked it for "ROG"- i don´t know

                            I can't find any of these

                            tCAS
                            tRAS-CAS

                            DRAM READ to WRITE Delay sg = tCAS
                            DRAM READ to WRITE Delay dg = tCAS
                            DRAM READ to WRITE Delay dr = tCAS
                            DRAM READ to WRITE Delay dd = tCAS +1

                            What is the last version of mem tweakit ?

                              tCAS = DRAM CAS# Latency
                              tRAS-CAS = DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay

                              please set DRAM CAS# Latency and DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay to 17 (if it is not working please set it to 19)

                              look for third timings:
                              tRDWR_sg set to DRAM CAS# Latency
                              tRDWR_dg set to DRAM CAS# Latency
                              tRDWR_dr set to DRAM CAS# Latency
                              tRDWR_dd set to DRAM CAS# Latency + 1 [ for example 17 + 1 = 18 ]

                              and check please:
                              tWRRD_sg = ~30
                              tWRRD_dg = ~25
                              tWRRD_dr = 4 to 5
                              tWRRD_dd = 4 to 7

                              if they are lower please set them to 30, 25, 5, 7

                              to mem tweakit

                              on asus homepage i see it is advertised for z390 asus rog mainboard, but i cant find download link, newest version i can find is 20170830 but it is for x299 platform :-/
