Temperature sensor and heatspreaders on top end kits

Hello,
is there a specific reason why the top end kits (B-Die is known to be extremely sensitive to temperature) don't have a temperature sensor? Also, are there any plans to release top end models without heatspreaders? A lot of people just take them off anyways to either watercool the memory or point fans directly at it.

Even though it may not be part of the specifications and therewith guaranteed officially, all of my higher end Trident Z, Neo, RGB and Royal kits actually did have sensors / show DIMM TS in HWInfo64. At Hardwareluxx we were speculating that there might be a connection to the ICs used on the kits, but we did not get enough data to verify that with certainty.
