MSI z87-g45 compatability problems

I purchased MSI z87-g45 + I-7 4770k & 2 x G.SKILL Trident X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C10D-8GTX for new build. Im sure I saw this memory on gskill compatibility list when I did the memory search on gskill site last year. Purchased ram Aug. 2013 now it isn't on list anymore & neither is any 2400 speed ram list for my motherboard. My problem is when gaming my cpu heats up when gaming fast close to 70 celcius and above whether in standard settings bios sets for ram. which is at 1600 speed 1.5v timings at 13,13,13,35 2t. xmp settings temp worse so I don't even use at the 2400 settings at Timing 10-12-12-31. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using Intel factory CPU cooler? You may need to reapply thermal paste, make sure only a thin layer is on. Too much can cause heating problem.
