    Finish my replay

    The drive had to be returned to newegg for replacement. They wouldn't let me switch
    to another brand so I got another one.

            I am not a satsfied customer

            I was provided incorrect information and my question was never answered.
            I have now posted back and am am waiting for a RMA.
            Your people do not follow through. I thought when you buy what is supposed to be a high-quality product you get high-quality support.

            Maybe I should have bought Corsair?

              What method of contacting us did you use? We try our best to get to everybody, so if we accidentally fall through, please nudge us for assistance. You can PM me directly, email me (ustech@gskillusa.com), call me (909) 598-6860, there are many ways to get support if one method is not working efficiently.

              Edit: Just responded to your other post, there is no updated response by you so of course we did not follow up. We can surely RMA the modules as you requested, but first you should follow our procedures to set it up. The memory could be fine, you just need to set it up in BIOS. The memory purchased is above the standard, so it is not a simple plug and play. Manual settings are required for smooth operation. Be patient, work with us, and we will make sure your system is stable.

                Are you the person who replied to the other post? Please use a name - it can be a fake one even - so I know I am dealing with the same person. This process has been frustrating. I will assume you are the person who replied and switch to that thread.

                  great support

                  gskill has some great tech support... they worked with me all day to resolve my problems. still have a few bugs to work out but i am running more stable than i was this morning thanks for everything! see you tomorrow

                  edit... and afterwards i have heard absolutely nothing from them. fixed my problem with help from other forums... thanks, for the time that you did try :\

                      totally satisfied with tech support

                      I would like to thank gskill support tech for their patience and on-going help. I really can't think of anything that would improve on the support that I received. A world wide company cannot always please everyone in every way but gskill is apparently making a good effort to do so.

                        I find G.Skill's support to be very good for the price point in which I choose to purchase my kits. I haven't had many issues with g.skill in the past and since 2008 am a very satisfied customer. In this day and age all companies are fighting for our business and g.skill tends to be the cheapest (and among the most reliable). Throughout my extensive experience with RAM companies (have been with Corsair, OCZ, and switched to g.skill in 2008), You have to understand that most to all support levels are nearly identical. The only metrics in which I have to measure g.skill by are the things in which set them apart from the rest (price, easy, friendly forum community). Thanks alot to all in the g.skill forums for making this community a welcoming one!

                                Impressed!

                                I asked for case badges for my new rig on Friday since I never received any with my Ripjaws X memory. Not only did they arrive today (only three business days later), but they also threw in a bunch of other goodies I didn't even ask for. The little things like this are what distinguish a company that truly cares about their customers from those who only care to profit from them. I know it's a little thing, but in a world of corporations that don't care about their customers I was genuinely impressed and will definitely buy from G.Skill in the future!

                                Oh, and of course the Ripjaws have been excellent!
