  • Best lowering timing?

    Hi,
I currently run an oc i7 930 to 4.2ghz and I have the:

    G.Skill Trident 6GB
    (3x2GB)
    PC3 16000 (2000MHz)
    DDR3 Triple Channel RAM,
    3x240-pin DIMMs
    Non ECC Unbuffered, 9-9-9-24-2N,

What timings can I try? or what would be the best timing?

    cheers
    Philip

    Philip,

If you're stable at that speed, then you already have the best timings for that kit of RAM.

The only thing that "might" work would be 8-9-8-24 2T

But you would need to confirm that with some stress testing.

However, if I were you I'd be happy that I had hit a bclk 200, cpu @ 4.2Ghz and memory running stable at 2000Mhz.
