When running METEST86 v3.4 what should be reported? This is what mine shows..

Athlon 64 (0.13) 3013 MHz
L1 Cahe: 128 K 37206 MB/s
L2 Cache: 512 K 16378 MB/s
Memory : 4095 M 9818 MB/s
Chipset AMD k8 (ECC: Disabled)
Settings: RAM: 502 MHz (DDR100) /CAS: 1-3-1 /DDR-1 (128 bits)

BIOS reports DDR3-1333

The memtest86 speeds are good. The only thing that is weird is the "Settings: RAM: 502 MHz (DDR100) /CAS: 1-3-1 /DDR-1 (128 bits)"

Try a diff memtest?

Regarding CPU Freq, sorry I was thinking of a diff processor for some reason.. So keep the CPU freq. at 200. Set memory clock to x6.66.

For voltages, change to these if you won't be OCing much:
CPU NB VID Control= Normal
CPU Voltage Control= Normal
DRAM voltage control= 1.60v
DDR VTT Voltage COntrol = 1.000V
NB Voltage Control= 1.200V
SB/HT Voltage control= 1.300V
NB PCIE Voltage Contrrol= 1.900V

Save and exit and everything should FINALLY be OK now. =) Try the same memtest, if still the same weird settings, try a diff version.

Settings right now..

ACC EC Firmware Selection= Hybrid
ACC = Auto
CPU Clock Ratio = x15
CPU Northbridge Freq = x11
CPU Host Clock Control = Auto
CPU freq (MHz = 200 (system auto selected)
PCIE Clock= Auto
HT Link Freq= Auto
Memory clock = x6.66
DCTs Mode = Unganged
CAS#Latency = 8T
RAS to CAS F/w delay= 8t
Row Precharge TIme = 8T
Minimum RAS Active Time = 24T
1T/2T Command Timing = 2T
TwTr Command Delay = 4T
Trfc0 for Dimm1 = 90ns (should this be 110ns)****
Trfc2 for Dimm2 = 110ns (should this be 90ns) ****
Trfc1 for Dimm3 = 90ns (should this be 110ns)****
Trfc3 for Dimm4 = 110ns (should this be 90ns) ****
Write Recovery Time= 8T
Precharge Time= 4T
Row Cycel Time= 30T
RAs to Ras Delay= 4T
CPU NB VID Control= Normal
CPU Voltage Control= Normal
DRAM voltage control= 1.600v
DDR VTT Voltage COntrol = 1.000V
NB Voltage Control= 1.200V
SB/HT Voltage control= 1.300V
NB PCIE Voltage Control= 1.900V

Only get the red flashing "System Voltage NOT optimized" message. When both the CPU Host Clock Control and System Voltage control are set to manual. Having either one to Auto makes it stop.

I also can't push beyond the CPU NB Freq of x11.. won't load system when set above that.

BTW, read that there is an issue with MEMTEST86 v3.5 and 4 GB of Ram, the rebooting issue occurs.

As long as mobo can detect correct settings, AUTO is OK, like the CPU freq.

For...

It is correct, but maybe too tight and causing instability. Try 110ns, 127ns, 110ns, 127ns.

With your new posted settings, is it still unstable?

only have 90, 110, 160, 300, 350 as choices on the Trfc's

System may not have been unstable, just don't wnat to even chance killing components..

I just want to make sure I am utilizing the stuff I bought to it's fullest potential. Not trying to OC the thing to death. Letting the system do a lot of it on Auto now. Where do I get what the system is seeing for real speed of the memory in usage? Memtest86, CUPID, other suggested software?

I appreciate the help.

If it is stable, then leave Trfc's because they should be good at that value.

You will not kill components as long as you don't overvolt out of spec and leave frying at high temp.
You are right, we all just want what we have to perform it's best. May not be the best in the world, but the best it can do. =)

Try these programs,
Everest, Sandra, passmark Now you can realistically computate what is faster or not. Compare underclock speed w/ lower CAS vs. rated speed w/ stock CAS or higher.

Ok so I ran Prime95 for over 16 hours.. system seems stable.

ONe curious thing is that AMD OVerdrive Utility and EasyTune6 show the memory frequency as 671.xx MHz. Should these be showing 1333?

Anyone have any ideas as to why it shows 667 not 1333 for the memory speed in CPU-ID, AMD Overdrive and ET6?
