  • Ga-p55-ud3 32gb

    Model of the motherboard: GA-P55-UD3
    Model of the memory: F3-10666CL9Q-32GBXL
    Model of the CPU: i5-750

I was looking to upgrade memory and found F3-10666CL9Q-32GBXL using the Ram Configurator, my GA-P55-UD3 motherboard was listed in the 'Qualified Motherboards List'. Would my system (running windows 7 professional 64-bit) be able to see and access all 32GB of memory?

    From the Intel site:
"Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type): 16 GB"
    http://ark.intel.com/products/42915/...he-2_66-GHz%29

    From the Gigabyte site:
"4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory"
    http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=3164#sp

    Thanks,
    Larrie.

I have a similar inquiry regarding P55 boards...

G.Skill state that some P55 boards are compatible, but Intel and board vendors say otherwise.

Corsair and Kingston do not list P55 boards as being compatible with 32GB kits.

I have an Asus P7P55D motherboard and G.Skill lists it as compatible with Ripjaws and Ares 32GB kits, but I'm not so confident especially when all other sources state otherwise.

    Is G.Skill accurate?

Sorry about that guys. It should be a problem with the database, we will have that revised immediately. Thanks for catching that and posting about it.

The P55 chipset is capable of 16GB max, 4GB per slot.

      Thank you
