  • Why can't we just get along? Memory QVL Vs. Mobo QVL

    Hi,
I’m interested in the MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 and am wondering why the memory listed as compatible on the G.Skill site (http://gskill.com/en/product/f4-3200c14d-16gvk) is not listed on the Asus QVL (http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/...624.1457892884)

My goal is stability then performance with the i7-6700K. I would prefer memory F4-3000+, is there a better memory choice? As far as the mobo is concerned I’m looking for a board that will run my MSI GTX-570 (N570GTX-M2D12D5/OC) and has enough current technology so it won’t have to be replaced in the near future. I want the CPU to run 4-4.2GHz and memory at stated speed. Is there a better mobo choice?

    Regards,
    Larry

Each company conducts their own individual testing. We do get along, we just have different opinions due to different experiences.

That is a great motherboard so you can definitely expect great results
