P45 Chipset and F3-12800

Planning on purchasing 8GB kit for a Gigabyte GA-EP45T-Extreme DDR3 Board. Will either of these kits work:

F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL

F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

What is the significance of XL vs RL??

Both should work the RL is the original Ripjaws line designed with the 1366 and 1156 socket mobos in mind, while the XL Ripjaws X line is designed towards the 1155 socket, either will work with the P45 chipset, just keep in mind the FSB of the P45 will need to run at 1600 or better to run the sticks at 1600, believe the default boot on your mobo will come up at 1333 so need to raise to 1600. If that's more of an OC than you want on the CPU simply lower the multiplier
