Since this is my very first experience trying to overclock my computer in bios....it's been a huge learning curve.

Pretty cool stuff. Like a mechanic working on classic car.

Anyhow, I took out the G.skill memory and test one stick at a time. And I change the slot.

The F2-9600CL5D-2GBTD pass a 4 hour memtest86+ 4.20 in Slot #1, #2, and it's currently being tested in Slot #4 (but so far it's looking good). Slot #3 is faulty because it failed within the first pass.

So I will trying any further progress in Slot #2 & #4.

Side note, what would happen if I put the memory sticks in slot #1 and #2. Would it affect my system?

    thanks

Depending on the BIOS version, it will want to be in 1 and 3, or 2 and 4. The latest ones are 1 and 3, so don't flash your BIOS, that way 2 and 4 are you intiial slots. That is if you have an older BIOS...

      Thank you
