actually, we tried to run wiper on Windows 7 64bit and XP 64bit
            there is no such issue...
please make sure your FALCON SSD is 256GB and installed as disk 0

as for the 32MB cache issue, it's a bug for the software
we have to wait for an update version to fix that
            thanks

I ran wiper.exe in Windows 7 RC x64. I unzipped and placed the wiper.exe directly into my "c:\" drive. I ran cmd as an administrator, found by right-clicking. and just typed "CD C:\" and then typed "wiper.exe"

i can not vouch for window 7 but i can say that win xp 64 bit is ok.

i ran wiper in vista 64 bit, sp1, and it failed.

                    sorry for the inconvenience
but would you like to run it in XP compatible mode?
We'll also try to test it on Vista 64bit soon
                    thanks

it could be that my drive was not truly the "0" drive as reported under disc management since i had another drive holding the OS...i'll give it another try in vista ultimate 64 bit.

?When i had Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit (i just had it for a short time, then i reinstalled Windows 7 RC) wiper.exe ran perfectly =D
I put it onto my desktop and made a double-click on it and voila, it worked - a restart too...

it seems that we are getting mixed results with using the wiper.exe in 64 bit windows.

@>kAnton: which size GB Falcon do you have?

KAnton has a falcon 128 GB. I know because I was helping kAnton in another thread.

i am happy to report that the wiper.exe worked fine, as administrator, in vista 64 bit ultimate edition.

i have the two 128GB Falcon drives hooked up to the Intel ICH10R ports, configured in a single drive environment...my OS is installed on a Raid 0 setup, on an Areca Raid 8x PCIe card.

the two SSD drives are disk "0" and Disk "1"...my Raid disk assignment is disk "2".
