Please advise on new RAM

Hi everyone

I currently have a

I7-2600k

Asrock Extreme 7 Gen 3

with 8gb RAM F3-12800cl9d-8gbxl

I'm planning on expanding it to 16gb, by buying a second pair of them (Amazon has them for U$ 79 http://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-PC3-12...2800CL9D-8GBXL )

Should I go along with this plan or are there any other options to upgrade my RAM on this case? The main use will be gaming.

Cheaper on Newegg right now, so thats another option, I don't think you'll see a ton of improvement with faster ram, and it will obviously be much cheaper to just add another kit, though it won't be 100% sure to work together. (I have a mixed very similar kit for 16gb in my computer right now)

would be my next suggestion for that setup. you "should" be able to do 2133 and its probably the best kit out for that right now.

For compatability it's best to get a full set of the amount you want, there's no guarantee two set will work as mixing DRAM can be problematic
