  • FlareX ram Part Number

    Hi,
Just received my ram FlareX 3200 2x8gb kit.

    On CPU-Z it says F4-3200C14-8GFX:

But on G.skill website it says F4-3200C14D-16GFX:
    https://gskill.com/en/product/f4-3200c14d-16gfx

Does that mean mine are not dual channel? Are they slower?
Should I send them back to order the F4-3200C14D-16GFX ?

All is good. Let me explain:

    F4-3200C14-8GFX is the part number for a single 8GB Flare X DDR4 module with DDR3-3200 CL14 specs.
F4-3200C14D-16GFX is a dual kit consisting of two of those modules (this is what you bought).
F4-3200C14Q-32GFX would be a quad kit of four of those modules.

The part number for each module is always the same, however the part number for the kit specifies the amount of modules and total capacity. In the same way my F4-3600C17D-32GTZR consist of two F4-3600C17-16GTZR.
