  • Amd am3+ warning!!!

Just a heads up for AMD users.
My Sabertooth comes with ECC enabled by default and also 1T enabled by default.
Also if I leave the CPU-NB voltage at AUTO and raise the CPU-NB frequency, it auto raises the voltage to 1.4 volts with is insane.

Go and double check these, set the voltage for CPU-NB to 1.175 for most everyday applications.
Unless you run ecc ram, ecc should be off and 1T is just asking for trouble.

This is probably something specific to your MB. So which Sabertooth is it? There are four in total for 990FX, the original, the standard R2.0, the R2.0/Gen3 and the R3.0. If it is the most recent one, then contact ASUS support about it, they will probably fix the ECC and command rate defaults in one of the next bios updates.

Other than that i tend to avoid AUTO voltages when overclocking in general.

      I didn't even know about the 3.0... PCIe 2.0 what a waste.
It could be all but I know for sure v1 and v2
      I'm using v1
