Default Keyboard disables keys automatically

Twice since I've been using the KM570, I've turned the PC on and the keyboard doesn't light up at all. At first I thought the computer was still asleep, but the PC was on. Eventually I looked at the keyboard settings and all of the keys had been marked red as "Disabled". I was able to go in and undo this so I could use the keyboard again, but I don't know why this happened.

Looks like this is covered in the the software update? I'm not at home to compare software versions with what is posted above and what I'm running.

Well, I checked, and software and firmware are both up-to-date.

However, I haven't had this problem in a couple of weeks. Weird that it might be resolved by doing nothing.
