  • Phoenix Pro 120GB No longer working

    Hi All,

I have a Phoenix Pro 120GB drive which has failed. I tried hooking it up to another PC to run the firmware update but it isn't showing it in the update utility. Is there anything else I can try or do I need to RMA it?

    Thanks,
    Nick

    Hi,

Please check if you can see the drive showing in BIOS, if not, please send it back for RMA.

If you can see it in BIOS, please kindly secure erase the drive and re-install the firmware again.

Thanks. The BIOS doesn't see it nor parted so I can't re-partition it.

I have sent an email to rma@gskillusa.com and still have not heard back. I entered my RMA on Friday. Most HD manufactures will instantly provide you an RMA number. Not sure what the hold up here is but this doesn't help in recommending GSkill to anyone.
