  • Troubles with SSD Falcon 128Go

    Hello,

I encounter a problem with my Falcon 128 Go ssd. I had a blue screen of death on my computer (windows 7 Ultimate 64bit). I rebooted the pc but a boot failure error prevented me to start the OS. I used the windows 7 cd to use the repair tools but :
    - the automatic repair failed
    - no restore point were found
    - fixmbr did not solve the problem
    - fixboot and rebuildBcd return me the following error : Unknonw element

I then tried to use an Ubuntu live cd because I wanted to retrieve my data. This time, it came that I did not have any partionned space. Impossible to mount the drive. Here is the fdisk log:

    Disk /dev/sda: 137.4 GB, 137438953472 bytes
    255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 16709 cylinders
    Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
    Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
    I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
    Disk identifier: 0x00000000
Disk /dev/sda doesn't contain a valid partition table

I try GetDataBack, a data recovery software, but no file system was detected and I got an error for each sector read :
    Error 1117 in HD129: ReadLba: LBA=8659985, CHS=-1x-1x-1, Cnt=64
I can't even format the disk, an unknown error occurs.

Is there a way to retrieve my data ? Or should I RMA it ... ?

    hi IViarsu,
we are very sorry to hear that, however, your data can't not be recover anymore, that's how SSD is...
can you detect the SSD in BIOS? if not, please send it back for RMA. if you can see, please using firmware 1916 to clean your drive, reinstall 1916 and update to 2030.
