Good evening! A few days ago saw the news about the Phoenix Blade, and was not much surprised, like all good, but there were rumors that G.Skill strongly late presenting their products now, first on older controllers 2 ... but enterprise-class series ( although this is only a rumor so accuracy is questionable), the majority of new products at 3 ... series, and secondly there was the small size of 240GB, which is most popular among the majority of users (players, etc.), perhaps it will be presented later, but .. . think 480 and 960 are great size for today, but for most will be expensive unfortunately, third in the net a lot of questions about the recording speed, has long overcome the threshold of 1GB / s. In general, the characteristics of good, but the overall speed that we give out for performance actually has only second in importance, for copy or write at those speeds is possible only with the same devices for real performance and work more important IOPS read and write with random small blocks of 4K, if I'm not mistaken. I understand only declared speed reading, what was shown in the presentation? I think the last place will take determination and speed in the BIOS boot OS, like the one that advertises Asus. Incidentally forum ROG Phoenix Blade actively discussed already))).
Excuse me this is just "my thoughts out loud," a lot of thought and could not resist))).
