Default F3-10666CL8D-4GBECO + ASUS P5Q3 + Intel Quad Q9300

Hello,

I would like to know the working settings in BIOS for F3-10666CL8D-4GBECO and ASUS P5Q3.

When I have the two modules of F3-10666CL8D-4GBECO kit the computer does not even beep

My BIOS version is the latest one P5Q3 BIOS 1102
I have the tried the following combinations :

Placed the two RAM modules in orange slots. PC does not start.
Placed the two RAM modules in A1 & A2. PC does not start.
Placed the first RAM module in the first orange slot. PC does not start.
Placed the first RAM module in the second orange slot. PC does not start.
Placed the first RAM module in the first black slot. PC does not start.

i’ve tried all the above with
a) DRAM Timing to Auto

and

b) XMP

PC works fine with older two 1GB G.SKILL memory modules 1600 and 7-7-7-18

I’ve noticed that F3-10666CL8D-4GBECO work with 1.35V but i cannot set V lower than 1.50V
F3-10666CL8D-4GBECO is in the supported kits according to ASUS list
I presume that i need to have XMP, but i don’t know how to configure it in BIOS.

Thank you
Joe
