I wanted to share my information. I original purchased the G.Skill 2x4GB 1866 (F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR) for my board. I had to manually set the speed to 1866 and everything worked flawlessly. Later I wanted to fill the other 2 empty dimms to get 16GB so I purchased another set on Black Friday because they were cheap. I had to do some tweaking to get them to work.
These are the settings I changed.
Updated to latest BIOS 1.90 (from 1.50)
XMP 1.3 Profile 1 (from AUTO)
DRAM Freq DDR3-1866 (from AUTO)
DRAM Voltage 1.55v (from 1.50v)
CPU NB/GFX Voltage 1.3625 (from 1.275)
Runs stable with no crashes.
My only problem now is it will not restart when I tell it to. I have to manually power it off and back on. Any suggestions? It will showdown as it should.
By the way, originally you could only share up to 512mb for the GPU, now you can go up to 2 GB with the latest BIOS I'm only sharing 1 GB
