    Looking for any advice on this pairing
    2 yr old light gaming rig, became the workhorse of the network (primary)
    looking for last hoorah, since im limited on processor upgrade with this mobo

    Hoping upgrade from 2x2GB OCZ DDR3 PC 1600 will help with multi tab browsing and older gaming
    (BF2142/COD MW2/Black Ops/GOW/Crysis/Frontlines)

    Will be building top-notch gamer this coming summer

          doesnt seem that much faster coming up from 4GB
          am i missing something?

                It's running at 1333, if going to leave it at 1333, might want to tighten the timings down to 7-7-7-24 or so and possibly try CR at 1N or 1T, will prob need to boost DRAM voltage _ 0.03 or so and CPU/NB voltage to + 0.06

                  What would i need to do to run it at spec (1600)

                  and do you recommend Ganged/Unganged.
                  i understand:
                  Ganged - All RAM accessible on the fly via 1x128 bit pipeline
                  Unganged - Each core has dedicated 4GB stick via 2x64 bit pipeline

                    I prefer ganged, here's a thread that might help setting up 16GB, if no joy doing so (and there might not be, most 955s can't carry 1600 then we can try tightening the timings at 1333 for a performance boost, check here:
