  • F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD + ASUS X79-Deluxe + Intel i7-4930K

    Dear Sirs
Just received F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD for my system.
After I set XMP in BIOS (2400 11-11-11-31-2T) computer didn't started (started with blank screen). Dropped memory frequency a little, selected strap 125 - start but errors in Windows loading.
Finally after trying some settings (raised memory voltage) I have success
4930K overclocked 45*100, Offset +0.010, LLC Medium, CPU Current Capability 120%
    VCCSA, VTT 1.15v
DRAM 2400 11-11-11-31-2T 1,68V (DRAM Current Capability 120%, Power Phase Control Optimized, so actual voltage in Windows is 1.69V)

The question is: does my settings seems reasonable or you have some advices to optimize them?
I'm a little bit confused that memory didn't started with XMP 1.65V.

P.S. Sorry for my English, this is not my native language.

What is the XMP VCCSA Voltage? Have you tried lower DRAM Voltage but higher VCCSA?

    Thank you

      XMP VCCSA is 1.2V
It's not starting with XMP DRAM 1.65V and VCCSA 1.2
But working ok with DRAM 1.69V and VCCSA 1.15

That should be fine, the actual supplied voltage may be lower than displayed value. As long as the system is stable, everything is ready to go.

          Thank you.
Just weird that XMP (supposed to be tested because it's QVL model for ASUS X79-Deluxe) profile not working with default BIOS settings.

You are right, but it can happen when production slightly changes especially with motherboard, CPU, and RAM.

            Thank you

              Hello again,
I will bump topic, unfortunately I've found that memory is not stable in games after this discussion and moved to 2133Mhz.
46*100 Offset +0.060 (real Core is 1.28 while loaded, I'm lucky with CPU).
              VSSCA 1.18 VTT 1.15
              2133 9-11-11-31-1T 1.65V
Stable in linx, 3dMark (if not stable - result in 3DMark is 10% lower).

Well I decided to try 2400Mhz again.
Raised VCSSA up to 1.22, VTT up to 1.2, Dram up to 1.7V
              Tried 10-12-12-31-2T 11-11-11-31-2T
Stable at 3DMark but completely not stable while testing with linx (computer just shutdown).

I could say I'm pretty happy at 2133Mhz, but I want 2400Mhz as it supposed to work
              At 2400Mhz I also have +10% read/write from/to memory based on Aida64 testings.

Really appreciate of you can advise me something to try.

All my settings as I have now
