Ranxerox is reading into overclocking
Question DDR4 and bottleneck due to SATA 3

https://www.facebook.com/gskillofficial?fref=ts

I have seen comments that the sata 3 is a bottleneck for these memories.

Is this true?

Nico Hahn Andrew McFain yes 750 mb/s are right BUT 750 mb/s for write AND read speed
An SSD makes 500mb/s write speed and 500 mb/s read so 250 mb/s speed are lost...

Not FOR the memory, but SATA 3 is limited to ~560MB/s (1 way).. which is why most SSDs are PCIe now because 2 way PCIe 3.0 lanes results in 1969 MB/s bandwidth!
