  • Bad Memory Module

    Hello, I own a 16GB DDR3 RipjawsZ kit (4GB x 4).

One year ago I had problems with a memory module, I ran tests using only one module in different slots, and only 1 of the 4 is not working correctly. The system starts up when using part of the memory the BSOD appears.

I thought about triggering the RMA but I live in Brazil, here the international shipping rates are very high. Perhaps the cost of shipping exceeds the value of a 4GB module (a simple module costs $ 50). The US deadline is approximately 12 business days or more (in the fastest and most expensive way). That's why it took me a while to get in touch.

Is there any other way to perform the exchange / repair of this module?

Does G.Skill have any representatives here in Brazil?

Any possibility of sending only the faulty module? (I do not want to run out of a computer during the process).

Thank you and sorry (English is not my native language).

For Brasil, you will need to send to California

Yes, we have G.Skill rep in Brasil but it is not for RMA support.

We can accept defective module only, but your RAM will be mismatched.
