Hello. I need some help to make it work stable. I couldnt make it stable with Phenom x4 955 so I bought new CPU (Phenom X4 965 BE C3 ) but still cant get it to work.
    My setup:
    Mobo: ASUS M4A89TD PRO
    CPU: Phenom X4 965 BE C3
RAM: F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO (2x2GB) 1.35v [sticks installed in blue slots (dual channel)]

    CPU Bus Frequency: 200
    DRAM Frequency: DDR3-1600
    CPU-NB Frequency: 2400MHz.
    HT link speed: 2400 mhz
    DRAM Voltage 1.45
    CPU-NB Voltage 1.25V

    Timings: 7-8-7-24
    DRAM Row Cycle Time: 40
    DRAM WRITE Recovery Time: 12
    DRAM Command Rate 2T

Computer freezes or gets BSOD after short time with these settings.
Tried also @ 1333 with timings 8-8-8-24 @ 1.35v but also started to freeze after some time.
After one of crashes it detects only 2047mb of RAM in BIOS(1 stick). Windows shows 4GB installed (2GB available). MemOK button doesnt help. I had this problem before and reinstalling CPU in socket helped. After that BIOS will show 4GB installed but again when it crash or freeze it will detect only 2047 MB. I have no idead why.
Ram Sticks were tested also with gigabyte MA74gmt mobo and phenom x3 445 and @1600 and they were working fine.

I had bought ECO sticks in the past with a AMD 1100T C3 with an ASUS M4N98TD EVO with the same problem you had. I then talked to a good friend of mine who bought me some PNY XLR8 4GB RAM modules that played much better with my memory controller. I noticed that Gskill RAM modules take more BIOS tweaking finesse.

The ram sticks themselves should be tested with memtest on a USB stick just to make sure they are not defective from Gskill.

Second thing would be optimizing the BIOS settings to get them to run properly. I would set the DOCP profile in the ram and keep the voltage at 1.35V. Second thing I would do is experiment with the CPU/NB voltage.

was 1.25v the stock cpu-nb voltage? if so bump it +.1v

If it does run and is just unstable you can also try just loosening the timings a tad maybe 8-9-8-27 as a starting point then you can see which numbers give you some play to figure out where things will work best.

Also think the cpu bus needs to be 240 (but don't quote me on that part let someone else suggest that if the first couple of suggestions are unsuccessful)

        CPU/NB stock voltage was 1.1v so I've raised it by +0.15 = 1.25v. Tried also +0.1v .
I'll try to change timings but I dont have much hope. Tried almost all settings (even with cpu bus set to 240) read many posts on forums and nothing helps. Ram stick were tested with other motherboard and they are 100% working fine, no errors.

This board was discontinued rather quickly it seems, and a lot of complaints similar to this. Not sure where to go from here maybe gskill or tradesman can do something for you, but it sounds like you've exhausted most avenues already.

First, RAM should be in black slots.

Then test minimal voltage and work up from there. Seems like you have most settings correct, so it's just a task of finding the correct voltages for the system.

            Keep us posted.

Hello. I couldn't make it stable after many tries. Computer crashes even at SPD settings. Could you suggest what
              RAM should I buy
              for this setup (ASUS M4A89TD PRO USB3 / Phenom X4 965 BE C3)?
The most important thing for me is stability so DDR3 1333 is fine. Preferred amount of RAM is 4GB.
              Thanks.
