Here a thread for all benchmark results

here's my results for the Falcon 64gb, on windows XP aligned to 128 sector = 64 offset in diskpart
Also, i made all the tweaks found on ocz vertex tweak guides on the net.

I'm using the board AMD southbridge sata controller and a quadcore Phenom 9500

I seem to have problem (memory corruption error) with my pagefile on the SSD tho (not sure still testing that)
wish i would have the faster write 128drive
but at the same time I think lower rate write is better for longevity

Really indilinx or intel controller ssds rocks, I'm so happy i bought one

and this is my old Western digital drive results
    Western digital 500gb - WD5000-AAKS

A lower write rate won't increase the longevity. It's not the speed, it's how often you actually write to the drive. Also, you don't want a pagefile on your SSD, it'll slow down the overall performance.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

Anybody else with a 64gb so that we can compare it to the 128 a little better.

wonder why my read speed are so low compare's to yours
Also, why your 4k write speed nearly double

It would be useful to know OS, AHCI or IDE when people post results..

The following are my system setup:
Asus Striker II formula, there is no AHCI mode available which is the reason why I can't run wiper.exe
                    2GB x 4 G.Skill
Falcon 128GB SSD on drive 0 (it shows only 32MB cache)
                    Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit

I ran HD for several times and this is the best result I got, so I'm posting this one. As you can see, it only shows 189MB read while the spec says 230 max. I guess there are just too many factors that prevent my ssd from reaching its max performance.

                    Any suggestion is welcome

Thanks very much for your time

Wow.. thats a good score. I get way less with my 128MB, think it could be my Windows 7 RC x64

Thanks. I probably have you to thank. I forgot to bench before my partition was aligned, but I'm sure your advice to do so helped my scores after it was aligned. Thanks for that bit of advice.

Got my Falcon 128 yesterday (and firmware 1571 from FaniX - thanks !) before admins activated my forum account.

Had lower scores until I enabled AHCI, then the scores went up quite a bit to this ...

                            Fresh install of Windows 7 64bit RC1:

                            My Specs:

                            Asus Rampage II extreme
                            Core i7 920 @ 3.7
                            6 gigs Kingston HyperX T1 DDR3 1800 RAM

                            I love this drive !
