Had Win7 working as I needed....then one day, POOF! drive will no longer boot into Win7. Drive still shows up in BIOS and is accessible via boot to XP from another non-SSD drive.
I have read the forum and it seems to be a firmware issue.
Question #1: Is there any possible way of fixing this without the firmware update so I can get Win7 to boot again? so that I can create a Win7 backup image before I proceed with the firmware update.
Question #2: Since the firmware update will cause the drive to lose all data, how can I backup everything on the drive? This is my Win7 boot drive....or was but will no longer boot. I want to be able to backup/save everything on this drive, but Win7 has a lot protected folders/files that I cannot access if I share this drive with another PC on the network. I do not want to lose ANY data.
Thank you for your time,
Joe
