  • Mouse driver constantly accessing CPU

I have found some bugs in this product, but before I start talking about those I really want to focus on this CPU issue. In the Task Manager I can see mouse driver "App.exe" (what is up that that terrible vague name???) is constantly taking up 2% of my CPU. Even when sitting idle. Something is wrong.

    Does anyone else observe this?

    I'm running Windows 10.

Anybody? Is G.Skill monitoring this forum? I'm sitting here, mouse idle, watching App.exe using up 3% of my CPU right now. This can't be right!!

    My system:

    Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit
    Intel Xeon CPU E5-1620 @ 3.6GHz (8 CPUs)
    16GB RAM

That is normal, you can stop the program if you would like to avoid CPU usage.

This might be normal for GSkill, but this is not normal in general. Mouse drivers are not constantly accessing the CPU by this amount - especially if you're not moving the mouse. Right now the mouse is idle and I'm watching it cycle between 2.9 to 3.4 percent CPU - this is crazy!
