Default Two faulty ram sticks?

Hi, i recently a ram kit.
G.Skill F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-12800 (1600MHz) DDR3 Dual Channel RAM
and i believe they are BOTH faulty, im not sure if this is due to shipping, or just a bad batch from manufacturer, but i seated them correctly, i took anti static precautions, i doublechecked seating before turning anything on, however i believe they are preventing my motherboard from getting past bios

i've tried removing one of them, moving sockets etc, each time seating them correctly

is G skill likely to replace these or just say "yeah, as if BOTH are defective "

i will be seeing an IT technician today to confirm that the ram is faulty and that i seated them correctly

also, one more question, if i do apply for replacement, will i only have to ship it within aus or to the US or something?

thanks
