    Here is my score!

I've been running my RipjawsX at DDR3-2000 8-10-9-28 1T for a little over a month now on my FX-4100. I think my 890FX mobo holds them back from hitting 2133, but it handled tighter timings so I'm happy.

Very nice! Here is a similar score, but lower latency due to 2GB modules instead of your 4GB :

    G.Skill RipJaws X F3-17600CL7D-4GBXHD
    ASUS Crosshair V 990FX

    Thank you

Someone posted this on overclock.net a few hours ago. DDR2 on an AMD platform and over 10GB/sec is insane.

Hi xila, good scores, about the best I've seen for AMD.
If you press ALT+PRNTSCRN it will capture only the active window.
          I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that.

My 3 day HWBOT challenge for AMD FX users.

              HWBOT is partners with G.Skill

              Good luck!

Got 4x4GB of Ripjawsx. Were downclocked to 669 by the board, but I knocked them back up to 800. Those are the tightest I can get the timings, perhaps without adding more volts.

I am somewhat disappointed with those results, since I expected more from that. Could it be that I have all four DIMMS populated? I do need 16GB since I operate a RAM disk... I'd perhaps would've got for 2x8GBs but I couldn't find any. Either way, I'm certain I can get more from that RAM.

I know that Gskill ram comes with a lifetime warranty but would overclocking, i.e. adding increasing the voltage to tighten timings or run it above its rated speeds void warranty?

                    harbin91,

That is vDIMM 1.50V? Definitely need more voltage for better timings.

Also, 4 DIMMs is much more difficult to overclock. It is much more stress for the CPU memory controller.

Warranty is not void unless you remove the warranty sticker, or physically damage the modules. Overclocking, adding voltage, tighten timings, doing all this the proper way will not harm the modules or void warranty.

                    Thank you

Wanted to add my personal workstation's performance with an "overclocked" configuration. Unfortunately, due to AMD's cloak and dagger concerning the Thuban's IMC, and its degradation with memory modules @ 1600mhz, I will not risk retaining these settings indefinitely.

Only conducted this to observe what affect it had on the "low GPU usage" complication that is rampant with these processors.

Apart from that, pleased with G.SKILL's memory performence:

*old man sigh* Our counterparts have so much memory bandwidth. And this is considered excellent for an Amd Thuban processor.

Very good, should be pleased, like you, wish AMD would put a little $$$ in their R&D, especially on the MC (memory controller)

Just starting to tinker with RAM overclocking.

RAM is G.SKILL F3-10666CL9-4GBRL. So far all I have done is to set the CPU-NB to 2400MHz and up the RAM Frequency to 800HHz. All other RAM timings are set to Auto. HT Link is set at 1600Mhz.

Thanks! I've disabled the 3rd core to see how far I can push the CPU and RAM then I'll open the 3rd core up and see what that gives me. I know I can hit 3.7Ghz with 3 cores but once I started messing with the RAM that all went out the window. Where should I start with tightening up my settings for the RAM?
