  • RIPJAWS V F4-3000C15Q-32GVR : Faulty stick ?

Hello, first I apologize for my english since it’s not my native language.
    I bought a kit of RIPJAWS V 8GB x 4 DDR4 sticks @3000 Mhz ( F4-3000C15Q-32GVR ) in June 2016 which remained unused until June 2017 (I was waiting for the 1080 Ti to come out)

    My system specs :
    • Motherboard : MSI X99A Gaming Pro Carbon
    • Processor : Intel i7 5200K @ Stock
    • RAM : 4 x 8 GB RIPJAWS V certified @3000 MHz 15-15-15-35@ 1.35V ( F4-3000C15Q-32GVR )
    • CPU Cooler : Corsair H110iGT
    • GPU : EVGA 1080 TI FTW3
    • SSD : SAMSUNG 850 Pro 1 TB
    • PSU : BeQuiet! Dark Power Pro @ 850W
    • Case : BeQuiet! Dark Base Pro 900
    • OS : Windows 10 Pro x64

    My issue :
On Saturday, June 29th , my PC didn’t boot up properly : I got error codes 19, 55, 60 cycling on the motherboard LED display.
Ram was previously running at 2400 Mhz @ BCLK 100 with timings set as 15-15-15-35 and voltage on auto (last time I checked it was between 1.200V and 1.220V).

I then removed the stick on DIMM7, reboot, same locked state. Then removed DIMM5’s stick, repeat, same error, DIMM3, reboot, error still here and lastly removed the last one on DIMM1.

I put the stick which was on DIMM7 on DIMM1, alone, the PC booted fine (besides the fact it detected RAM Configuration changes)
Did the same with the stick previously on DIMM5 to DIMM3, then the stick which was on DIMM3 to DIMM5.

The system is now running fine with the 3 remaining sticks (24 GB detected) @ 2133 Mhz 15-15-15-35 , 1.200 V

When I manage to put back the stick I suspect is faulty – the one which was on DIMM1 before the issue, the system doesn’t POST and I get back the error codes 19,55, 60 cycling.

Sometimes the system boot (approximately 1 time out of 15-20 boot attempt) but detects only 3 sticks (BIOS and CPU-Z/Intel XTU/Windows 10 showing 24GB).

I tested the remaining DIMM slots (2,4,6,8) and they seem to be handling the 3 working sticks.

I also tried to clean up the DIMMS and the sticks.
That one stick seems dead to me, RMA time ? Thank you in advance for any advices.

      Thank you for the reply.
Should I mention only the serial number of the faulty stick in the appropriate field ?
Do you think I'll have to send back the entire kit or maybe only the faulty one ?

Since I'm using this machine for my job, it would be inconvenient to send all sticks.
I'm looking forward to your reply before filling the form.
