[Question] Combining Ripjaws & Ripjaws X

Can the F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL and F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL function together? (in their own dual channels) I already have the 8GBRL in their slots and would like to buy/install the 8GBXL.

I've been told of the misconception that even similar RAM will not always work with each other.
I had that problem when I tried combining 8GBRL with F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ.
