  • F3-12800-CL9D-4GBNQ with Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3L - Timings

I wanted to double check my current setup to ensure that there will not be any issues. I recently built an i5 750 setup with the Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3L motherboard. The RAM I have is F3-12800-CL9D-4GBNQ (4GB, 2x2GB). My current timings are:

    9-9-9-24
    Command Rate: 1T
DRAM Voltage: 1.5V selected in BIOS (showing 1.536V actual)
    Base Clock: 200MHz
    DRAM Multiplier: 8x
    All other settings on auto

The RAM is rated for 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5V @ 1600MHz, but when set to auto the motherboard times it at 10-11-11-29 @ 1.5V @ 1600MHz due to the increased base clock. Basically, I just wanted to confirm that 9-9-9-24 would not be a problem (short or long term).

The RAM passed over 4 hours of memtest86 at 9-9-9-24, and it was at that timing when the system passed IntelBurnTest, LinX, and Prime95 tests. So it does appear stable.

Shouldn't be, no. If a problem does come up can loosen the timngs slightly or drop Command Rate to 2T

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
